What Is iTranslate ?
--------------------
iTranslate is a program that allows the user to
translate text into different languages. It does
this by using the translation server located at
babelfish.altavista.com on port 80 (ie. the web).
The program simply saves the user loading up a
dedicated web browser. This program is very useful
when connected to an IRC server, where you can
translate text from German, French, Spanish,
Italian and Portugese users.
Unlike the web server, iTranslate filters out
all the HTML, leaving you with clean ASCII text.
Features
--------
* MUI Interface (3+)
* Cut & Paste Facilities
* External save to an ASCII file.
* Easy Use (NO MESS, NO FUSS!)

How To Use iTranslate
---------------------
VERY simple to use.
1. Enter text to translate in first edit box.
2. Select the language to translate from and to.
3. Hit the "TRANSLATE" button.
-> The program will connect to the server.
-> Send an HTTP request.
-> Get the data sent back.
-> Filter out all the crap.
4. Translated text will appear in 2nd edit box.
5. Everything else is common sense.
Future Updates
--------------
If anyone has any ideas, please drop us an
email, we like them :) Also if anyone else knows
of any other translation servers, please tell us
the address, and then we can make the program better
by allowing the user to select the translation
server that suits them best.
Why We Made The Program
-----------------------
Whee wanted it (he likes to wind foreign people
up). Also because Altavista have made similar
programs for the PEECEE and MAC; it's about time the
AMIGA got one too :) Other translation programs for the
AMIGA that use this service, do NOT offer cut and paste
facilities, which quite frankly, pisses a lot of people
off! - Especially when using IRC.
Quote by Zonkerz, "Ah yes, CUT and PASTE, very important!"
Bugs
----
Quoted by Whee, "It does go a bit mental sometimes?"
Notre Buenos (NB if u didn't know, meaning note well),
PLEASE make sure you have a TCP/IP stack before loading
iTranslate, otherwise it WILL crash when trying to
connect to the server.
Register

This is program is email-ware! Click on the "register"
button on the splash screen to create the registration
